One of the leading secondary schools in the Humber region is benefitting from a new CPS bespoke performance stage.
The school originates from the early 1930s as an old-style grammar school but major construction work in 2017 has resulted in a new school being built which is now home to a fantastic performance stage.
The school opted for a full theatre setup which included proscenium curtain, wing curtains, backdrop and cyclorama curtain. A top of the range sound and lighting system was also installed to create an overall dramatic theatre effect.
The platforms were dressed in bespoke oak veneered fascias to give the stage a more prestigious look and feel. A pair of matching wing steps and integrated power socket boxes completes the system which is one of the finest examples you will see in a secondary school.
The stage system, which totalled almost 40 Alu Rapid platforms, was designed, manufactured and installed by the skilled CPS team to the delight of both the school and the main contractor who constructed the new school.
