We are delighted to announce the arrival of Steve Moss who has joined CPS as design and projects manager. Steve will head up the design and estimation team at Brunel House and will take a hands-on approach in managing both seating and staging projects of which some can be very complicated in design and demanding on time.
He has worked in the construction industry for almost 13 years and has strong experience in both technical and design roles. Ensuring the correct processes are in place with a strict attention to detail, problem-solving and thinking outside of the box are key highlighted areas to his past successes.
His most recent role was managing the estimating and sales support team for a large global fencing manufacturer and installer. By working hand in hand with the external sales and operations teams the transition and overall experience for the customer was improved from initial prospect stage to completing the project on site.
Prior to that role, Steve led the design and technical support functions for a large ventilation manufacturer, often ‘taking the bull by the horns’ and assuming responsibility to resolve any issues and ensuring high-quality standards for the products going out of the door.
Now at CPS, Steve aims to use his experience and skills to help improve processes within the design, estimating and project management areas of the business and play a part in the continued growth and success of the company.
Steve commented: “With over 50 years’ experience and a brand name synonymous with manufacturing high-quality products, I feel privileged to have joined CPS and in the short time I’ve been here I have already seen the great potential the business has.”
Everyone associated with CPS would like to wish Steve all the best in his new role.
