A team at CPS Manufacturing is taking part in a challenge to complete 1,000 miles over 3 weeks from 2nd to 23rd September. We will be walking, cycling, running, kayaking, hiking, swimming and more to go the extra mile for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
The Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice helps to care for children and young adults with life shortening illnesses in their own homes and at the North Anston hospice. This support includes respite and short breaks, family and sibling support, end of life care as well as bereavement support.
The team includes Steve Moss who is hoping to run and walk 150 miles, Tim Gilson taking on 80 miles by hiking, cycling and walking, as well as Roger McCreadie who is hoping to walk 40 miles during the 3 weeks. A few of the team members are already hitting the pavements to increase their mileage in preparation for September.
