The fundraising target had to be changed during the month due to the team smashing its original target of £750. The final amount raised is more than £400 above the updated £1,000 fundraising target.

A team of 14 team members at CPS Manufacturing Co took part in a mileage challenge to reach 1,000 miles in total. The team completed an impressive 1,038 miles during September. The challenge called “Going The Extra Mile” meant the team had to complete their own mileage walking, running, swimming, cycling or kayaking throughout the month to help raise money for the charity. Individually the team completed the following mileage:-

  • Our Managing Director Jason Hughes is cycled 39 miles over the three weeks.
  • Our Head of Marketing, Laura Shutkever is kayaked and cycled to 50 miles.
  • Roger McCreadie, Design and Estimating Executive walked 40 miles for the charity.
  • John Ayre, Seating Production, walked for 21 miles.
  • Digital Marketing Executive Emma McHale ran 104 miles.
  • Business Development Manager at CPS, Tim Gilson hiked, cycled and walked for 88 miles.
  • Angela East, Executive Assistant walked for 21 miles.
  • Roy Hughes, Marketing and Admin Director, walked for 26 miles.

Congratulations to those that took part and thank you for helping to raise so much money for the Bluebell Wood.
